Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service as they order food and beverages in our café setting
• Operate POS systems for cash handling, sales processing, and order management
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, utilizing barista skills to craft beverages that delight customers
• Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and basic math calculations for change and totals
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling bakery items or light food service to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
• Experience with POS systems is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café area, and perform light food prep tasks
