Responsibilities

• Mix, knead, proof, and bake bread and pastry dough according to established recipes and quality standards
• Decorate cakes and pastries with professional cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
• Package baked goods efficiently while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
• Prepare ingredients and assist in food production processes to ensure timely delivery of fresh products
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients
• Handle food safely by following all food handling regulations and safety protocols
• Support catering events or restaurant operations by providing high-quality baked goods and assisting with food preparation as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or related culinary fields with a focus on bread making
• Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and presentation
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent knife skills for precise slicing, shaping, and decorating baked items
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards
• Customer service experience to engage positively with clients or team members
• Familiarity with food industry practices including packaging, food preparation, and catering support
