Grain Valley Schools is looking for an Administrative Assistant in Academic and Student Services!
This position is primarily responsible for assisting and supporting the Department of Academic and Student Services in effective and efficient operations within the department. This includes professional learning activities, career and technical education, academic programming, and the student services team.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate locations, room assignments, communication, technology needs, etc. for all district-level professional learning activities
- Assist with reservations, registrations, reimbursements, etc.
- Maintain and reconcile budget accounts for the department, including purchasing card(s) statements
- Prepare and enter all purchasing requisitions for the department time logs, calendars, expenditures/budget, government agencies, etc.)
- Research, compile, create, and distribute reports to the assistant superintendent, directors, staff or other stakeholders as directed by the supervisor (e.g. records information, current practices, policies, education codes, etc)
- Collaborate with instructional coaches, building administrators, district administrators, outside consultants, vendors, building administrative assistants, etc. on a daily basis
- Procures supplies and materials (e.g. instructional, office, forms, etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- High School diploma required
- 3-5 Years of job-related experience preferred
- Must be able to work flexible schedules at times to support meeting or event preparations outside standard office hours

- Pay Range - $18.83/hr - $21.08/hr
