We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various facilities. Duties
- Install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify faults accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Maintain low voltage and high voltage systems safely, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Assist with renovation projects and construction site tasks involving electrical systems and framing carpentry.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete electrical installations or repairs on time.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing safety compliance.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in industrial or construction environments.
- Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematic diagrams for complex electrical setups.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and renovation procedures.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical components.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools for installation tasks.
