Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our environment clean, safe, and welcoming by performing a variety of custodial and cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, committed to safety protocols, and enjoys maintaining a tidy space that promotes health and comfort for everyone. Duties

• Responsible for cleaning all restrooms in the plant.
• Responsible for cleaning the breakrooms, changing rooms and the elevator breakroom.
• Responsible for cleaning the floors in the office areas and emptying wastebaskets in assigned areas.
• Clean the main entrance to the mill, the stairway to the main office, and the reception area.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and paper supplies for restrooms.
• Maintain sufficient amounts of hand cleaner and paper products in all restrooms.
• Perform fogging duties, including heat treatments and fumigating rail cars.
• Trash receptacles
• Trash to be taken out Tuesday and Friday morning from all assigned areas including, but not limited to, the dock, Tin shop, Maintenance shop, Packing room, Robot area, and Bulgur office
• Recycle to be taken out Thursday morning
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed.
• Must be able to proficiently verbally communicate, read, and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and quality training and processes.
• Need to have the capability to work in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with other colleagues.
• Need to be capable of working in varying climates and environment.
• Performs work in a manner that is in compliance with all policies and GMP rules.
• Reports any conditions that may put product quality at risk.
• Performs work in a safety conscious manner that is in compliance with all policies and procedures. Reports any conditions that pose a safety risk to personnel and/or property.
• Must secure a current Nebraska Commercial Pesticide Applicators License.
• Must pass Pulmonary Function test and test fit for respirator.

This position is contingent upon successfully passing Grain Craft’s background screening, drug-screening and physical (if applicable). Grain Craft maintains that we are a drug-free company on all levels.
