Reading Room Assistant
Department: Imaging Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 80 hrs biweekly; 1st Shift; 8:00am-4:30pm; M-F

Under the direction of the Director of Imaging, the Radiology Reading Room Tech is responsible to manage the image workflow for the department. This individual will be accountable for escalating sensitive results and potential discrepancies to the appropriate Physician or APP. The Radiology Reading Room Tech will be the primary manager of the organization and maintenance of medical images within the PACS system. The assistant will also be trained to coordinate follow up care for patients to ensure appropriate and timely schedule of medical appointments.

Strong computer skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Outstanding communicator (written & verbal)
Basic understanding of medical terminology (preferred)
High School Diploma or GED Education
