Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Production Graphic Coordinator to join our team at Grafix Shoppe, a leading provider of custom signage solutions from office rebrand to custom vehicle wraps. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all artwork is properly prepared for production, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in a face paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Artwork Review: Evaluate incoming customer-provided artwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with production specifications.
- File Preparation: Optimize and prepare digital files for print, ensuring proper resolution, color settings, and formatting.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with sales, production, and install team, to make necessary adjustments and enhancements to artwork as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-production checks to verify quality, color consistency, and alignment before printing.
- Workflow Management: Organize and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines. The ability to multi-task is a must.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to file formats or printing processes.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to thrive in environments where you can take initiative and work autonomously.
- Think Outside the Box: Demonstrates creativity and the ability to generate innovative solutions to challenges.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a pre-press or graphic production role, ideally in a sign shop or commercial printing environment.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with RIP software. Knowledge of Gerber Graphic Advantage is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
