Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Spa Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist clients with their needs, and ensure a welcoming and relaxing environment. This role involves engaging with guests, managing retail sales, and supporting the overall operation of the spa. Previous experience in retail or customer service are highly valued to enhance guest interactions and promote our products and services.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, organized, detail oriented, able to take initiative to work well with little to no supervision under pressure in busy environments and exude a Professional appearance and demeanor.
This is an entry level position with potential for growth into a managerial role. the position pays hourly PLUS commission and requires strong Sales and Marketing skills to achieve full earning potential
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using POS systems
- Provide product demonstrations and upsell spa treatments, memberships, skincare products, and retail items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail areas, including stocking shelves and merchandising displays
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures and cash handling protocols
- Promote spa services and products through effective communication skills and sales techniques
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette when scheduling appointments or answering inquiries
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product rotation
- Support supervising staff in daily operations as needed to ensure smooth service delivery
- Engage guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or grocery store environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math is advantageous
- Supervising experience is a plus for supporting team operations
- Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and the ability to upsell products are essential
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing stock levels effectively
