With our Syosset manager transitioning to help launch our new Oceanside location, we're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented leader to take the reins in Syosset and continue driving our success.
Summary
We are looking for a Studio Manager to oversee our operations at Graff Lab Studio. This role is essential in ensuring smooth event execution, managing staff, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Join us in creating memorable art experiences
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily studio operations including opening/closing procedures
- Manage a small team of artists and studio assistants
- Schedule and confirm birthday parties, events, and public workshops
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming studio environment
- Track inventory and coordinate supply restocking
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and artistic energy of the space
- Support marketing initiatives and collaborate with the Oceanside team
- Foster relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in management or supervisory role (retail, events, or creative industries a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable with fast-paced environments and multitasking
- Passionate about art, youth programs, or creative education
- Tech-savvy: confident with email, scheduling apps, basic POS systems
