What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Math Teacher position at Graettinger-Terril CSD?
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Valid Iow teaching certification for middle school math
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging math lessons aligned with state and national standards
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Incorporate technology and interactive learning strategies into lessons
- Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities as needed
