SUMMARY
The Director of Development, is responsible for developing strategy, managing, and growing key fundraising programs in support of Grady Health System; building and maintaining relationships and ensuring effective stewardship of institutional and individual donors; representing the Grady Health Foundation in the community; and, contributing as a member of the Grady Health Foundation leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study
- Five (5) or more years of job-related experience including job related experience in program development / grant writing for non-profit organizations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated success managing a corporate foundation relations program
- Excellent computer and technology skills required with preference for experience using Raisers Edge or other donor database, including prospect research modules.
- Knowledge of the foundation corporate giving community
- EPIC scheduling and work queue management experience.
