Key Responsibilities
Parts Department Duties
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using the company’s tracking system.
- Issue parts to technicians and service personnel as needed.
- Process purchase orders, returns, and vendor deliveries.
- Identify, source, and order replacement parts and components.
- Keep the parts area organized, labeled, and clean.
- Track and update repair orders, ensuring correct parts are assigned, work orders are updated, and jobs are properly documented.
- Communicate with mechanics, service leads, and management about repair order progress and parts availability.
Warehouse & Logistics Support
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general inventory management.
- Stage parts and materials for upcoming service jobs and equipment repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform periodic cycle counts and assist with annual inventory.
- Support other departments with light warehouse or material-handling tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year experience in a parts, warehouse, or service coordination role preferred.
- Familiarity with repair order tracking systems or maintenance software a plus.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical duties.
- Team-oriented and dependable with a focus on safety and efficiency.
