ProEco Site Supervisor

The Ohio Remediation Site Supervisor is responsible for leading on-site environmental remediation operations, operating heavy machinery, and directing and implementing the company safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. The ideal candidate must have a clear understanding of all Federal, State, and Local regulations (i.e., OSHA, DOT, EPA, and Ohio EPA). The individual is responsible for directing on-site crews, executing in-situ and ex-situ remediation projects, managing internal and external compliance reporting, providing compliance advice and assistance, conducting compliance investigations, and ensuring regulatory filings and daily operational logs are made timely for all said government agencies and clients. In addition, this individual will be responsible for scheduling and conducting field crew training (HSE portion), safety meetings/stand-downs/toolbox talks, as well as conducting accident investigations and incident reporting.

This position is a field intensive position with the expectation of an 85/15% field to office ratio. This is a 24/7/365 position with the expectation that the individual shall be available by phone if needed for an incident response or spill response situation. It is also expected that this individual will work rotating shifts during day & night operations in conjunction and coordination with the Regional Operations Manager to support all aspects of field remediation and HSE as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 ·  Fully Support the Operations Management Team with all related remediation and HSE

              functions by actively communicating, participating, and addressing all items assigned by the

              Regional Operations and Project Management Team.

           · Direct and actively perform hands-on in-situ remediation (chemical injection, direct delivery,

   microbial bioremediation, surfactant-based soil flushing) and ex-situ remediation (excavation,

   blending, micro-encapsulation, stockpiling, and loading) in accordance with project scopes

   and engineering controls.

·  Safely and proficiently operate a medium-sized mini excavator and a tracked compact skid

    steer for soil excavation, backfilling, material blending, loading, and final site grading.

·  Maintain a valid Class A CDL to operate commercial motor vehicles and transport trailers

    hauling heavy equipment, remediation amendments, and support supplies to and from client

    facilities, project sites, and laydown yards.

·  Supervise and lead a field crew of 2–3 environmental technicians, assigning daily tasks, monitoring

    execution, and enforcing site workflow.

·  Assist Operations Manager(s) by suggesting safe practices as part of preplanning and training

   based on previous accidents and incidents.

·  Establish, maintain, and improve all safety processes and procedures, and ensure they are

    implemented, enforced, and adhered to on every job site.

·  Conduct comprehensive on-site safety assessments as part of continuous monitoring and

    improvement process.

·  Coordinate and oversee company random drug testing program requirements.

·  Document all safety violations, unsafe conditions, and undesirable activities to ensure disciplinary

   actions and corrective measures are implemented immediately.

·  Communicate regularly with all levels of Management and employees regarding good and improper

    safety and operational practices that are observed.

·  Educate field personnel through continuous on-the-spot training and weekly toolbox talk meetings.

·  Complete comprehensive accident reporting and incident investigations.

·  Arrange for and maintain basic first aid training for all personnel (1st Aid, CPR, and AED).

·  Maintain accurate safety, equipment maintenance, and calibration files and records.

·  Ensure company policies and standard operating procedures are understood and implemented

    correctly and consistently.

·  Maintain compliance with third-party compliance websites and customer portals, if required (i.e.,

    ISNetworld).

·  Attend safety meetings and audits required by ProEco customers and industrial operators.

·  Ensure all assigned crew members complete the required safety training as requested by ProEco

    customers.

·  Perform any additional assignments as directed by Management, Operations,

    including cross-operational support for affiliated entities (such as Grady Rentals,

    ProCoil, and ProFlow).

• Assist in workers compensation claims and employee injury complaints.
• Arrange for basic first aid training for all personnel (1^st Aid, CPR, and AED)
• Maintain accurate safety files and records.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are understood and implemented correctly and consistently.
• Maintain third party compliance websites, if required (i.e. ISNetworld).
• Attend safety meetings and audits required by all ProEco Environmental Solutions customers.
• Ensure all employees complete the required safety training as requested by ProEco Environmental Solutions customers.
• Perform any additional assignments as directed by ProEco Environmental Solutions Management, Operations.
