Position Summary
The Part-Time Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient daily office operations. This role supports service order entry, processing field tickets, assisting walk-in field staff, and performing light accounts payable (AP) tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and process service orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Receive, review, and file field tickets and related documentation
- Assist walk-in field personnel with basic administrative needs
- Perform light accounts payable duties, including invoice data entry and document matching
- Maintain organized records (digital and physical)
- Answer phones, route inquiries, and provide general office support as needed
- Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or accounting coursework a plus
- Prior office, administrative, or clerical experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
