What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coach-First Assistant - Volleyball HS position at Athletic Office?
Responsibilities:
*Assumes the responsibilities as head Coach in the absence
of the Head Coach.
*Directs and assumes responsibility for the area of the program
assigned by the Head Coach
*Supports the Head Coach in conducting the athletic program
of that particular sport and the total athletic program.
*Is loyal to the coach and to the team. A First Assistant Coach
generally must give up some of his/her own thoughts to conform
to the overall pattern as set forth by the Head Coach.
*Assists the head Coach in a manner which will be most
beneficial to the entire program.
*Assumes the responsibility for the development and guidance
of a specific team within the total program as assigned
by the Head Coach.
*Attends all meetings requested by the Athletic administrator
or Head Coach.
*Covers scouting trips requested by the Head Coach.
*Assists the Head Coach in checking in all equipment at the
end of the season.
*Abides by the Athletic Department policies and operating
procedures
*Performs other coaching-related duties as directed by the
Head Coach, Athletic Administrator or Principal.
