CHM -804: Principles of General & Biological Chemistry -This course, designed primarily for students in the health-related professions, presents the fundamentals of modern chemistry with emphasis on biochemistry. The topics covered include atomic structure, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, acids and bases, organic chemistry, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleic acids, vitamins, minerals and their biochemical applications in health and disease.

- Student is attending Rockland Community College & needs to work with a tutor for his CHM - 804: Principles of General & Biological Chemistry class.
- The student feels lost and needs assistance with understand the material to apply it in class independently.
- The goals are for the student to get at least a B in the class and retain the information.
- Student wants 1 hours sessions once a week.
- Family is seeking a tutor who can meet at the New City Library at 220 N Main Street in New City.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with college students.
- Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in chemistry.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
MON & WED & FRI: 6:00pm-9:00pm
TUE & THUR: 3:00pm-9:00pm
SAT: 1:30pm-9:00pm
Pay & Benefits
