About the student
- 1st grade student
- Family is asking for a credentialed teacher with experience working with special education students.
- The student is in 1st grade and has autism. He is non-verbal.
- He is a good student, but is struggling with communication and would benefit from a tutor with ASL experience. He is in very small classroom setting with lots of one on one and would like to have a tutor present to walk him through his class material and to assist him in understanding.
- The goal is for the student to have a better experience at school.
- Family wants 3 hour sessions 3 times a week, from 9am-12pm, Tuesday through Thursday.
- Family is seeking a tutor who can meet at the student's school in Rougemont.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary students.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching special education students.
- Ideal candidates will be a credentialed teacher with special education experience.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
TUE-THUR: 9:00am-12:00pm
Pay & Benefits
