About the student
- 11th grade student
- The student needs to work with a tutor for support with her AP Pre-Calculus class.
- The student has a busy schedule with honors classes and extracurriculars, which caused them to fall behind during the first quarter—dropping from a B to a C and currently holding a 66—and they will benefit from dedicated one-on-one support to fill in gaps and rebuild their foundation.
- The goals for the student are to work with a tutor to build confidence in math, become better prepared for tests, and ultimately improve her performance and finish the course with at least a B or higher.
- The family is asking for 1 hour sessions one a week on either Wednesday between 4pm-8pm or Thursday between 5pm-8pm.
- The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Saint Johns.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching math.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
WED: 4:00pm-8:00pm
THUR: 5:00pm-8:00pm
Pay & Benefits
