About the student
- 11th grade student
- The student needs support for reading comprehension. She is currently reading at a 3rd or 4th grade level.
- The family is asking for a tutor who has experience working with students with autism.
- The goal is to support the student in getting up to a 6th or 7th grade reading level this year. The family would like for the student to feel comfortable reading independently.
- Family wants 1 hour sessions 3 times a week, Monday through Wednesday, between 4pm-7pm.
- Family is seeking a tutor who can meet at the Pickerington Public Library at 201 Opportunity Way in Pickerington.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with upper elementary or middle school students.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring students in ELA including reading, spelling, and writing.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
MON & TUE & WED: 4:00pm-7:00pm
Pay & Benefits
