This role is for someone who understands production, sequencing, and jobsite realities—and can confidently price both trades as part of larger civil/site projects.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in asphalt paving and site concrete.
This role is for someone who understands production, sequencing, and jobsite realities—and can confidently price both trades as part of larger civil/site projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Detailed Estimates For
- Asphalt paving (binder, surface, base, patching)
- Curb & gutter, sidewalks, and flatwork
- Slabs and light structural concrete
- Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
- Build production-based estimates including:
- Labor
- Equipment
- Crew compositions
- Haul logistics
- Develop and maintain unit pricing and cost history
- Work with operations to validate production rates and means/methods
- Identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities
- Assist in bid strategy on competitive projects
5 years estimating asphalt, concrete, or civil/site work
- Strong understanding of:
- Asphalt paving operations (plant, trucking, laydown, compaction)
- Concrete placement production and sequencing
- Experience with:
- AGTEK, HeavyBid, or similar software
- Ability to read plans and visualize the full build
- Detail-oriented with a competitive mindset
- You’ll be estimating work we self-perform
- Direct input into how we pursue and win projects
