About the Role:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals, families, and groups within the New Jersey community. This role focuses on assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote emotional and psychological well-being. The LCSW will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for clients facing a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Additionally, the position involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to ethical and legal standards in social work practice. Ultimately, the LCSW will contribute to improving client outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for those served by the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of New Jersey.
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of clinical social work experience providing direct client services.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and social service systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in clinical practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with diverse populations including children, adults, and families.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software.
• Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the NJ area.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and strengths.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community resources to coordinate care.
• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Advocate for clients’ access to necessary services and support systems.
• Participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities.
