Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable, energetic Part-Time Barista with hands-on experience to join our team! As a barista, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while crafting high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service. This position requires flexibility to work opening and/or closing shifts.
Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items to company standards
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized customer service
- Accurately take orders and handle cash/card transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workspace
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Open the store (set up equipment, brew coffee, prep ingredients) and/or close the store (clean, restock, secure premises)
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- 6 months to 1 year of barista or food service experience required
- Experience operating espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Availability for early morning shifts (openers) and/or evening shifts (closers), including weekends
- Food Handler Certified
