What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Response Program Director position at Gracelyn Group?
Behavioral Response Program Director
We are seeking a behavioral response program director that has a passion for serving people with developmental disabilities and related conditions in an environment that fosters the development of one’s core character, including yours! Exhibiting a lifelong commitment to personal growth and development, such as active engagement in professional mentoring and coaching opportunities is required. You must have the desire to work a flexible schedule and be on call.
You’ll be on-call, responding to calls for support from Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) across our homes. Sometimes that means going on-site and stepping into an active situation. Other times, it’s consulting with Senior Directors and then providing over-the-phone guidance to staff. You’ll also work regular shifts alongside teams in our highest-needs homes, helping to build relationships, provide consistency, and develop proactive strategies that align with our values.
Our culture values calm under pressure, curiosity over certainty, and character over ego. If you’re drawn to complex situations, open to learning our approach, and eager to be part of a team working together to support impactful growth and stability in people’s lives, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
Experience in mental health issues and high intensity aggressive behaviors is required.
