Corporate Payroll Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Corporate Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations with precision and enthusiasm. Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the complete payroll cycle using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee payroll processing activities, including data entry, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting related to payroll expenses.
• Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, tax regulations, and governmental reporting requirements across all jurisdictions.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information while handling payroll data with integrity and professionalism.
• Collaborate with HRIS teams to optimize payroll and HR systems integration, including Kronos, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or other time & attendance systems.
• Conduct detailed analysis of payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare audit documentation for internal and external reviews.
• Stay current on updates in payroll tax law, labor law compliance, and financial concepts to implement best practices within payroll operations.

Experience

• Proven experience managing corporate payroll functions within a fast-paced environment with a strong understanding of payroll management software such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks or similar financial software; familiarity with non-profit accounting is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting principles like double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of employment & labor law as well as payroll tax regulations across multiple regions or countries.
• Skilled in analysis and problem-solving with the ability to interpret complex data sets using spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion while managing large volumes of data entry accurately using 10 key typing skills.
