What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Repairperson 4A (Oahu) position at Grace Pacific LLC?

1. Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, air and hydraulic problems in mobile and stationary equipment and/or plants in order to identify and perform necessary repairs. 2. Performs general overhaul and engine repair work on equipment with diesel, gasoline, and air-cooled engines. 3. Perform adjustments and repairs to brakes, transmissions, ignition and lighting systems, cooling and heating systems, air and hydraulic systems 4. Perform structural repair and fabrication employing a variety of welding techniques with a variety of metal specifications 5. Diagnoses and performs emergency mechanical repairs on stationery and mobile equipment 6. Communicates with Foreman and co-workers on diagnosis and repairs 7. Complies with all OSHA and MSHA regulations, Company hazard and safety regulations, and pertinent DOT regulations 8. Prepares written reports and records. 9. Performs other duties as required. 10. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace |

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS |

1. 5 years proven experience in heavy equipment repair of both mobile and stationary equipment 2. Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract 3. Ability to complete physical exam to meet DOT driver requirements 4. CDL A preferred, Minimum type required 5. ASE Training preferred. |
