Overview
Grace Chapel Lutheran Christian School is seeking a mission-minded, student-focused Administrative Assistant to join our ministry team. This position reports directly to the Principal and plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our school. Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors, and staff, providing excellent customer service and hospitality.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage the school office and ensure daily operations run efficiently.
- Support the Principal with administrative tasks, scheduling, correspondence, and special projects.
- Maintain student records, attendance records, and other confidential school documents.
- Prepare, distribute, and maintain school correspondence, newsletters, calendars, and announcements.
- Assist with organizing school events, meetings, programs, and activities.
- Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Utilize school technology systems, databases, and software programs effectively.
- Assist with tuition records, financial documentation, and reporting as assigned.
- Monitor visitor check-in procedures and support school safety protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student, family, personnel, and school matters.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and data requested by the Principal.
- Promote a positive, Christ-centered environment that reflects the mission and values of Grace Chapel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous office, administrative, or school experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for serving students and families.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.70 per hour
