We are seeking caring and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Personal Care team. POSITION SUMMARY:To ensure that the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents are met in a timely and dignified manner.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Report at start of shift with worksheet to receive shift report.
- Assume leadership by coordinating the care of residents with appropriate personnel.
- Count narcotics with offgoing nurse.
- Administer scheduled medications in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations. Perform scheduled treatments, wound assessments and documentation as per facility policy.
- Document pertinent information on residents including but not limited to: 7 day assessments for MDS documentation, alert charting, monthly summaries, incidents/accidents and vital signs.
- Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders and prepare for physician rounds.
- Regular attendance is an essential function.
- Communicate resident or staff issues to appropriate personnel.
- Attend meetings and inservices as required.
- The 11p 7a nurse is responsible for the TwentyFour (24) hour chart checks. Required:
Current RN or LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamworkCommitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care
Pay:Starting at $34.00/hour (LPN) | Starting at $44.00/hour (RN)
