Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all regulations. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Utilize construction management software, such as ProCore, for project tracking and reporting.
- Develop detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Work alongside crews while on site.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to promote collaboration and resolve conflicts.
Experience
- Hands on experience and knowledge of framing and all other facets of construction.
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies including project scheduling techniques.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Excellent time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
