What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Staff position at Grace Childcare?
Childcare Staff- Monday - Friday afternoons 2:00-5:30pm (7 paid holidays)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in public or private childcare or preschool is preferred, but not necessary
- Positive, caring, self-motivating, dependable, eager to learn and loves to work with children
- High School Diploma
Information:
- Grace Childcare is a mission of Centerville United Methodist Church (CUMC). The children are taught the Bible, prayer, and Christ-like character and behavior, and will consist of developmentally appropriate opportunities to develop positive social skills.
- Scheduled afternoon activity times (snack, larger motor, craft time, center play time, music and motion video time, cool down/ready to go home time)
- Training on the job along with required First Aid, Universal Precautions and other training
- Fingerprinting is required and it is processed through the State of Indiana
- (If you do not already have the required training, we will pay for your required fingerprinting and training.)
- 7 paid holidays

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- First Aid and CPR Certification (Preferred)
