Job Summary
We are urgently seeking a passionate and dedicated <>DRIVERLICENSE> Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. Your expertise will help foster their development across various domains including literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional skills. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate Montessori methods when applicable.
- Deliver engaging lessons focused on child development, literacy, math, physical education, and social skills to preschool and toddler-aged children.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment by adhering to child welfare policies, mandated reporting laws, and health & safety protocols such as first aid and CPR.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Maintain detailed records of attendance, developmental milestones, lesson plans, and incident reports to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Experience
- Preferred but not mandatory classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing early childhood education best practices.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners about child progress and welfare issues.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required( in a required manner); additional certifications in childhood development.
