Job Summary: The Home Health Aide Staffing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, scheduling, and management of home health aides to ensure quality care for patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling: Coordinate and maintain schedules for home health aides to ensure optimal coverage for patient care needs.
- Recruitment: Assist in the hiring process of home health aides, including interviewing, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Staff Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for home health aides, addressing any questions, concerns, or scheduling changes.
- Patient Matching: Match home health aides with patients based on skills, availability, and preferences, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of staff assignments, certifications, and training to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues between staff and patients professionally and promptly.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and caregivers to ensure transparency and satisfaction with care services.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare management are a plus.
- Previous experience in scheduling or coordinating staff in a healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer systems and scheduling software.
- Ability to work On-Call on nights and weekends.
