HSE Supervisor

HSE SUPERVISOR – Midland, TX

Job Purpose:

The HSE Supervisor provides location with continuous advice and support to ensure that HSE remains an integral part of the business and equal in priority to production and profitability. Responsible for planning, and maintaining a variety of health, safety, and environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safe and healthy working conditions to include safeguarding the environment. Must live within one hour of the Midland location.

Key Functions:

• Assist and support Operations Management and HSE Function in:
• Reducing accidents year on year towards the ultimate goal of Zero accidents,
• Establishing, maintaining, implementing, and improving the HSE Management System, Standards and Programs
• Assessing all operational Risks,
• Facilitate HSE plans required to ensure optimum mitigation of Risks and compliance to HSE policies, company, and regulatory standards.
• Conducting management review meetings to assess the effectiveness of the QHSE Management System and identify required improvements

2. Ensures all HSE risks are identified, assessed and that appropriate risk management

plans are implemented.

3. Ensures adequate HSE training is provided and maintained to all personnel, to meet

company, regulatory and client requirements.

4. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and

rules

5. Monitor and ensure compliance to applicable DOT/BATFE and OSHA standards

6. HSE Supervisor must be able to identify and locate potential hazards on active wellsites

7. Must be able to perform field audits using GR Energy’s proprietary reporting methods

8. Responsible for conducting incident investigations and collaborating with local

management

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of three to five (3-5) years HSE oilfield experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards is required
• Experience with contractor management software (such as ISNetworld or similar) is a plus
• Regulatory Compliance (OSHA/ATF/DOT/Environmental) is required.
• Must be able to pass ATF background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
