GPD is currently seeking a Civil Engineer for our Site Development team located in our Atlanta, GA office location. This role will provide civil site design work for industries like Retail/Commercial, K-12 Education, Public/Federal Buildings and Healthcare.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in Site Development Design a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with site planning, engineering, project coordination.
- Ability to work with senior engineers/designers and meet respective deadlines.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a multi-tasking work environment.
- Solid background in AutoCAD/Civil 3D design.
- Proficiency in grading and storm water management design preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
Day-to-day job responsibilities:
- Site planning and coordination.
- Grading and storm water management design.
- Design coordination with internal engineers and architects.
- Background coordination with our internal team of surveyors, environmental specialists, and geotechnical crew.
