Vertical CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) by loading programs, tools, and raw materials.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
• Tooling and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including changing tools, maintaining fluid/lubricant levels, and cleaning the workspace.
• Monitoring: Monitor machines for unusual sounds or performance issues, adjusting feeds and speeds to ensure optimal production.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine errors or production faults to minimize downtime.
• Swiss Machine Experience required
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Experience: Previous experience operating CNC machinery (mills, lathes) or technical training in CNC machining.
• Mathematics: Proficiency in basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Previous experience with CNC Swiss vertical machines required
