What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist:
- Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mill machining centers
- Load parts, cycle machine and detect malfunctions in operations
- Perform highly diversified and complex contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping
- Interpret blueprints to produce high quality parts
- Maintain tight tolerances
- Inspect work to verify conformance of finished product
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as maintaining coolants
What We're Looking for in a CNC Machinist:
- 2 years of CNC vertical mill setup and operation
- Solid blueprint reading skills
- Ability to follow written work instructions
- Working knowledge of G & M codes
- Experience with materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron and alloys
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs.
- Standard measuring tools required

Compensation and schedule:
- $22-30 per hour, based on experience with opportunities for overtime
- Second shift or overlapping shift
- Second shift employees receive a 10% shift differential on top of base pay
- Flexible scheduling in 24/7 operation
- Second shift employees have the option to choose between five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, depending on availability
