This individual will focus primarily on commercial and industrial (C&I) lending, building strong relationships with business clients, and driving new business growth in alignment with the bank's goals and credit culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial and industrial clients through proactive business development and relationship management.
- Identify new lending opportunities by networking, calling on prospects, and partnering with internal team members to support business growth.
- Analyze and structure credit requests to ensure compliance with bank policies, sound credit principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare loan presentations and recommendations for credit approval.
- Monitor ongoing credit quality of existing relationships and ensure timely renewals and reviews.
- Collaborate with credit analysts, underwriters, and other internal partners to deliver a superior client experience.
- Represent the bank in the community through active participation in professional and civic organizations.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience, with a focus on C&I lending preferred.
- Strong credit analysis and financial statement interpretation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships and generate new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
