Responsibilities
Part time sterilization technician needed for a busy specialty practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. Responsibilities as follows:
- Thorough cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of instruments, equipmment, and surfaces
- Operate and maintain autoclaves
- Organization of instrument trays and setups for various procedures as well as maintain inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient instrument flow during appointments
- Part time Monday - Friday with flexibility between the hours of 8:00 - 5:00
- Potential to grow into a Dental Assistant position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Candidate must have organizational and time management skill as well as flexibility to adapt to schedules
