Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on a variety of equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electric and gas-powered motors
- Identify problems quickly and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding repairs and timelines
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a shop environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with both electric and gas motors
- Excellent communication skills
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and dependable
- Valid Class C or Class B driver's license required
- Experience with heavy equipment or fleet maintenance
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
