Sales Agronomist Responsibilities

Sales Agronomist Responsibilities
- Make seed, fertilizer, and herbicide recommendations to growers
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to promote repeat business
- Manage and grow a sales territory through prospecting and customer service
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions
- Work alongside agronomy staff to support daily operations and customer success
- Keep up to date on agronomy services, seed technology, crop protection products, and Precision Ag technology
- Forecast product and supply needs on a monthly and annual basis
- Agronomy sales experience preferred
- Existing book of business preferred, but not required
- Degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team
- Compensation ranging from $60,000-$120,000 depending on experience
- 401(k) with company match
- Company vehicle provided for outside sales
- Territory opportunities available in Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, and Missouri
