Practice Areas
The position focuses on employment law, specifically
- Primarily plaintiff side litigation of claims such as discrimination or wage disputes
- Counseling and Advising employers on risk management
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, such as severance packages
- Negotiating settlements and other pre-litigation tasks
- 5 years of employment law experience
- Ability to run cases independently, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances when required
- Massachusetts bar admission in good standing
- Strong writing, analytical, and client-management skills
- Ability to treat clients with respect and empathy
- Remote unless you need to utilize office resources or be face to face with staff and/or clients
- Low billable requirements, supporting work-life balance
- Substantial autonomy and direct client responsibility
- Collaborative and collegial firm environment
- Base salary range: $125,000-$200,000, depending on experience
- 25% origination bonus on cases brought into the firm by the attorney
- Retirement and Health Insurance Stipends
