We are seeking an experienced Steel Rebar Estimator to support pre-construction efforts by preparing accurate and competitive bids for reinforcing steel projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for reinforcing steel/rebar projects.
- Analyze construction drawings, specifications, rebar placing drawings, and bid documents.
- Perform accurate material takeoffs and quantity estimates.
- Review bar sizes, shapes, quantities, grades, laps, splices, and other project requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing when needed.
- Work closely with project managers, detailers, field teams, and customers.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software to prepare bids and proposals.
- Participate in bid reviews and value-engineering discussions.
- Track project changes and update estimates accordingly.
- Maintain organized bid documentation and communicate estimating details to the project team.
- Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in rebar, reinforcing steel, or a related construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of reinforcing steel and rebar fabrication/installation processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience performing material takeoffs and preparing detailed estimates.
- Strong understanding of rebar sizes, grades, shapes, quantities, and placement requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with estimating software or rebar-related software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Previous field experience with rebar installation or reinforcing steel fabrication.
- Familiarity with rebar detailing, bar lists, placing drawings, and fabrication processes.
- Experience with project management workflows and construction estimating.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, project managers, detailers, and field personnel.

Salary : $80,000 - $115,000
