Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of restoration projects including planning, field execution, monitoring, and reporting
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, internal teams, and client communication
- Lead permitting activities, design collaboration, and site assessments
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients: agencies, nonprofits, private landowners, and municipalities
- Support hiring, mentoring, and development of Field Leaders and field technicians
- Ensure safety, quality, and ecological standards are consistently met by field crews
- Coordinate with internal nursery/logistics teams for plant materials, equipment, and supplies
- Produce clear documentation, progress updates, and project close-out materials
- Bachelor's degree in ecology, environmental science, landscape architecture, agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience managing environmental, construction, or land-based restoration projects
- Strong understanding of native plant communities, ecological processes, and/or environmental permitting
- Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing skills
- Ability to travel regionally and provide on-site leadership as required
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-accountability, field-based environments
