What We Need
- 5 years of experience as a Plaintiff's Trucking Litigation Attorney handling commercial carrier cases
- Proven experience managing trucking and catastrophic injury cases from the filing of a lawsuit through resolution, with a focus exclusively on litigation (no pre-litigation background)
- Courtroom experience, including arguing hearings and handling key litigation events
- Experience taking and defending expert depositions, including accident reconstructionists, medical experts, economists, and industry specialists
- Strong understanding of liability frameworks involving commercial carriers and multi-party litigation
- Ability to manage a litigation docket (typically 30-55 cases, depending on the complexity mix)
- Comfortable working in a structured, metrics-driven environment with accountability
- Demonstrated stability in work history and ability to operate within a team-based system
- Trial experience or meaningful second-chair experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling at least 10 trucking cases is highly valued
- Pay is competitive for an individual with similar experience
- Highly structured support system including litigation assistants, scheduling paralegals, and litigation paralegals handling substantive drafting
- Dedicated trial support, including second chair, IT support, and case-specific technical resources
