Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems using MBS software and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure design meets project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and documentation for fabrication and erection.
- Perform engineering calculations and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Support project teams throughout all phases, from conceptual design through construction.
- Troubleshoot design challenges and recommend innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural or metal building design.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) certification strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with MBS (Metal Building Software) and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and applicable codes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
