Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and manage legal documents in both state and federal courts.
- Maintain and track court deadlines and case-related schedules through efficient calendaring.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including document organization, exhibit preparation, and case research.
- Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case materials.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed.
- Manage case files and ensure all documentation is up to date and organized.
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department.
- Proficiency in state and federal court filing procedures.
- Strong calendaring and deadline management skills.
- Experience providing trial support, including preparing trial binders and exhibits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Paralegal certification or degree preferred.
