Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design and execution across all EPC project phases (FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Develop and approve designs for power distribution, substations, grounding/earthing, lighting, fire detection, and backup power systems.
- Review and validate deliverables such as single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, and technical specifications.
- Perform and review system studies including short-circuit, load flow, arc flash, and protection coordination (ETAP or equivalent).
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, IEC, and other applicable standards.
- Supervise and support electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction to subcontractors and EPC partners.
- Act as a technical liaison with clients, vendors, and contractors to resolve issues and align project deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 15 years of electrical engineering experience, including at least 8 years in EPC projects within metals/mining/heavy industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, and other electrical design software.
- Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power distribution, substations, motors, and industrial automation systems.
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Primarily office-based with extended computer use.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Periodic site visits with exposure to noise, dust, weather, and construction conditions.

Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
