The ideal candidate will have a solid background in employment law, excellent writing skills, and experience handling cases from initial intake through resolution.
Responsibilities
- Defend employers in employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour matters
- Conduct investigations, interviews, and fact development
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Provide day-to-day counsel on employment law compliance and risk management
- Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and litigation planning
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active CA bar membership in good standing
- 1-7 years of employment litigation as a practicing attorney
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working in a team environment
