The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with deep PEMB expertise and strong leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering department, including design engineers, detailers, and support staff
- Oversee PEMB structural design using Metal Building Software (MBS)
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Review, approve, and seal engineering drawings and calculations as required
- Coordinate with estimating, fabrication, and project management teams to support successful project execution
- Establish and improve engineering standards, workflows, and best practices
- Provide technical guidance on complex or high-profile projects
- Support multi-state licensure compliance and engineering approvals
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi-state licensure preferred, including Louisiana
- 10 years of experience working with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)
- Extensive hands-on experience with Metal Building Software (MBS)
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of structural steel design, building codes, and PEMB systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
