We're seeking a skilled Concrete Foreman to lead field operations on commercial concrete projects. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep experience in structural concrete, flatwork, formwork, and foundation systems, who can effectively manage crews and ensure high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Concrete Foreman Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of concrete crews on commercial job sites
- Interpret blueprints and project specifications to guide all phases of concrete work
- Plan and execute formwork, rebar placement, concrete pours, and finishing
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce all OSHA and company safety policies
- Monitor labor, materials, and equipment to keep the project on schedule and within budget
- Train and mentor crew members to maximize performance and ensure site readiness
- 5 years of commercial concrete experience, including 2 years as a foreman or lead
- Strong knowledge of structural concrete, elevated decks, slab-on-grade, tilt-wall, and wall systems
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction documents and layouts
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Solid understanding of safety standards and quality control practices
- Ability to oversee multiple phases of a project while maintaining production and safety
