Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Originate new CRE loan opportunities including income-producing properties, owner-occupied real estate, construction, and development loans

Develop and maintain referral networks with brokers, developers, attorneys, CPAs, and community leaders

Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities across treasury management, deposits, and other bank services

Represent the bank at community and industry events
Credit & Underwriting
Structure and negotiate loan terms in accordance with bank policy

Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, global cash flow, rent rolls, and appraisals

Prepare comprehensive credit presentations and risk assessments

Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal credit standards
Portfolio Management
Manage and grow an existing CRE portfolio

Monitor asset quality, covenant compliance, and collateral performance

Conduct annual reviews and risk rating updates
-
Proactively address problem credits and work with leadership on remediation strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

Minimum 7–10 years of commercial lending experience with significant exposure to commercial real estate

Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth

Strong knowledge of CRE underwriting, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment

Experience with construction and development lending preferred

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
